The Archäologisches Museum Colombischlössle offers a youth club, Junges ARCO, for children and young people interested in archaeology. The club offers opportunities for joint journeys through time, exciting hands-on activities and exclusive guided tours. Its programmes are designed for two age groups: the Mammoth group (ages 5 to 8) and the Silex group (ages 9 and up). Each group offers children of the same age the opportunity to experience the museum in a completely new way!
For those aged 10 and over who want to get active in the museum, there is the Cultural Ambassador team: The team members regularly offer to lead guided tours for children and families, which have now become a key part of the programme under the motto 'Children lead Children'. At events such as the Freiburger Museumsnacht or the Colombischlössle Festival, they are always present to engage with the younger demographic.
